It is the policy of the State of Utah to provide a work environment free from discrimination and harassment based on race, religion, national origin, color, sex, age, disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, or protected activity or class under state or federal law.
Employers have a legal and contractual obligation to maintain a workplace free from sexual harassment. SAG-AFTRA is committed to holding employers accountable for meeting this obligation. We are prepared to work cooperatively with employers towards the achievement of this goal, but are also willing to use the union’s enforcement powers to protect our members, including directing them not to work for employers who will not keep them safe.
Women in Film’s Sexual Harassment Help Line is an integrated program that offers resources and emotional support to people who have been victims of sexual harassment in the entertainment industry. We provide referrals to pro bono employment attorneys, trauma-informed therapists, and a confidential support group, Safe Space.
